I really want to know where that door goes...Actually...underneath Odessa is a very vast catacomb system from many years ago. You can tour it...at your own risk. The system has not been completely mapped...so it is quite dangerous. There is no subway system because of these tunnels.

We always wanted to eat at this cafe. It is at the edge of the very beautiful City Park...but we just kept forgetting and going elsewhere. That's Dede checking out the menu.

We just happened upon this little cafe on a stroll one day. We never ate here...but I love this scene.

This was a common looking pup. We kept thinking we were seeing the same dog over and over. We fed them all. We never left a scrap of food on any plate. There were pups and kitties alike. There was an entire litter of kittens living under the booth of an outside cafe. They had omelete for breakfast more than once.

Dede actually ordered a hamburger for a pup that crawled up under my chair at the Irish Pub. The pup was too finicky to eat it...at first...he came back for most of it. We took the rest down the street to his friends.

This was my favorite little pup. I fed him steak...and chicken...gave him water. I even chased him out of the street a few times...as if he couldn't survive without me around to scare him half to death. He would live with me if I lived in Odessa. (Stop crying Stacey...we did enough for all of us).

When these trees lit up...we were not expecting it...how fantastic it was to experience...brought tears to my eyes. This park and these trees run the length of...I would say...about 6-8 city blocks.

I have not stopped laughing at the vision I got of Kelly chasing down that poor soul that stole her camera:) I know he did not bargain for what he got from that interaction! I have been thinking non-stop about your meeting tomorrow. I have been praying, and I will continue to do so. I can't wait to hear how everything goes. I loved seeing the pictures!
